The best Indian milkshake ever, in my family’s opinion. The crunch of the fig seeds and the cashews is absolutely perfect when combined with every single ingredients. Best part? It takes minutes to put together.
Ingredients
2 whole dried figs (I use calimyrna figs)
15 whole cashews
1 tbsp sugar (regular granulated sugar)
8 oz milk of choice
Instructions
-Place the figs in a bowl with enough water for them to be fully submerged and heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes (until they are soft).

-Put figs, cashews, sugar, and 4oz of milk in a blender and pulse on high for about 30 seconds.

-Add the remaining 4oz of milk and blend for an additional 10 seconds.

-Serve!

Tip 1- add the shake to shot glasses for a fun mini dessert.

Tip 2- drink it straight out of the blender! (I use a magic bullet to blend and it comes with ready to go cups.)
