Steps to Put iPhone XR, XS, or XS Max into DFU Mode

•    Connect the iPhone XR, XS, XS Max to the Windows or Mac computer.

•    Ensure that you are running iTunes.

•    Disable the iPhone XR, XS, or XS Max in case you have not disabled the iPhone yet.

•    Press and release the volume up key.

•    Press and release the volume down key.

•    Keep pressing on the side key till you get the Power Off slider on the screen.

•    Pull the slider to switch on the iPhone.

•    Keep pressing on the side key provided on the iPhone for a few seconds.

•    You still need to keep pressing on the side key,

Steps to Put iPad into DFU Mode

•    Connect the iPad into the Windows PC and Mac.

•    Go to iTunes.

•    Ensure that you have disabled the iPad.

•    Long press and free the volume up key.

•    Long press and free the volume down button.

•    Keep pressing on the Power button provided at the upper side till you get the Power off option on the screen.

•    Pull the slider to switch off the iPad.

•    Long press on the power key for a few seconds.

•    When you are pressing on the power key, long press on the volume down key.

•    Keep pressing on both the buttons for a few seconds.

•    In case you get the Apple Logo on the screen, this is because you have pressed on both the buttons for too long.

•    In case the iPhone display changes into black color, this is because you have enabled the DFU mode.

Steps to Put iPhone 8 and iPhone X into DFU Mode

•    Pair the iPhone X or iPhone 8 into the Windows or Mac computer.

•    Ensure that you are running the iTunes.

•    Switch off the iPhone X or iPhone 8.

•    Keep pressing on the On or Off keys provided on the right-hand corner of the iPhone X or iPhone 8 for a few seconds.

•    Keep pressing on the volume down key provided on the left-hand corner of the iPhone while continue pressing on the On or Off key.

•    Long press both the keys for a few seconds.

•    Long press on the volume down key for getting the On or Off keys.
